At Kingsgate Financial, education, trust, and personalized guidance are central to every client relationship — values that reflect the approach of Tonye Hutzelman. Before entering the insurance industry, Tonye spent 17 years as a high school math educator at Turpin High School and Ursuline Academy, where she developed a passion for helping people understand complicated subjects with confidence and clarity. Today, she brings that same patient, educational mindset to her role as a Medicare Insurance Advisor and Partner at Kingsgate Financial.

For many individuals, Medicare can feel confusing and overwhelming. Plan options, enrollment timelines, supplemental coverage, and long-term healthcare planning often leave people uncertain about where to begin. Tonye’s background in education uniquely positions her to serve not simply as an advisor, but as a trusted advocate who believes informed clients make stronger decisions.

Her process is highly personalized. Tonye takes the time to learn about each client’s healthcare needs, financial goals, doctors, prescriptions, and long-term concerns before recommending coverage options.

Through tailored plan information and one-on-one conversations, she ensures clients have the resources and understanding they need to feel comfortable every step of the way.

As Tonye often explains, “We want this to work for YOU.” That philosophy drives every recommendation she makes. Rather than focusing on short-term solutions, she helps clients find plans designed to support them well into the future — minimizing surprises and creating confidence not just for today, but for the years ahead.

We don’t want clients constantly changing plans or feeling uncertain year after year,” Tonye says. “We want to help them get onto a plan that truly fits their needs long term — whether that’s three, ten, or even twenty years from now.

Over the past four years, Tonye has combined her teaching experience with specialized industry expertise, earning AHIP Medicare certification along with Life & Health Insurance licensing. Her ability to simplify complex information while advocating for her clients has helped establish lasting relationships built on trust, transparency, and care.

At Kingsgate Financial, Tonye continues to approach every client interaction with the heart of an educator and the dedication of an advocate — helping individuals and families move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and peace of mind.
